Miles, as in the town

Quick review, Sunday we went for a ride through D'aguilar National Park just outside of Brisbane. It is in the hills with lots of tight corners and nice views. We got back to the house just after dark and then went out for Indian food. Monday morning we got our phones working and then in the afternoon Clint escorted us through the city streets and then to Mt. Nebo. That overlooks the city and is also where all of the tv broadcast towers re located. Tuesday morning we loaded up the bikes (excepy for my inner jacket!!) for a 2 day ride that Clint laid out for us. He is not going so we will be on our own. He did escort us outside of town.although I was the "leader" using the GPS to follow the route. Needless to say I made a wrong turn so getting out of town did not go as planned. Jeff and I continued on for another 4 hours and ended up in the town of Miles. We found a Caravan Park (travel trailer) and rented a site that we put both tents on. The park is next to the highway and this is a heavy truck use highway so we were serenaded all night. There was a lot of construction yesterday with pilot cars so we spent a lot of time stopped. The only eating places were in the hotels so we chose one and we each had a pizza. The other meals were all basically some kind of beef/steak and french fries and were at least $30 so we cheaped out and had $13 pizzas.Naturally it rained during the night so we packed up in the rain this morning. Now we are geeting ready to get gas and get going farther northwest and then eventually southeast back to Brisbane.
