LA International Airport
Thursday night 7:20 California time. We are at the antiquated LAX airport's Terminal 4. The waiting area has about 150 seats for 350 passengers. But there are other waiting areas that are uncrowded and our flight doesn't start boarding until 11. There is only 1 sit down restaurant in this terminal and it is great demand. There are several people walking around with their laptops looking for an electrical outlet but there are none to be found. Makes me wonder how much an airport's electrical bill would go up if they installed outlets to meet the demand. We checked in several hours early and there was no line so that part went easy. Now it is just sit and wait. I was reading a book on the theory on how the universe would eventually die. It was supposed to be simple but it then went into some theoretical quantum mechanics. Interesting but stretches the definition of easy. I was questioning false quantum space having a high negative pressure which created anti-gravity so I will switch to a mystery novel for awhile. The novel had a card wit a love note from Linda as did the other book. I'm feeling guilty as this trip I did not hide any love notes around the house. Next post should be from Australia.
